Venue Spotlight: City Park

This historic park may have been created in 1854, but many trees predate the park by several centuries. Not many people are aware, but City Park is home to the oldest grove of mature live oaks in the world. There are more than 30,000 trees peppered throughout City Park of all different types. You’ll find bald cypress, magnolia, slash pine, and of course, the iconic live oak. The abundant tree collective gives our couples an array of backdrops to choose from inside of this park. Whether you’re hoping for a moss covered oak, a peaceful pond, or a beautiful fountain – City Park features all of the above. City Park is centered in the storied mid-city neighborhood, nestled between City Park Avenue and the famous Esplanade Avenue with many of the cities famed restaurants just steps away should you choose to continue your celebration with a champagne toast and delicious meal. We love this space, because it truly has so much to offer! Following your ceremony, we recommend adventuring off with our photographer to explore many of the gorgeous details throughout the park, your options are endless!
