New Orleans Race + Religious Elopement | Bron + Mark

A few words from the couple:

When it came to deciding where to get married, we always wanted to have an intimate ceremony. We considered some options where we live in Melbourne, but nothing stood as as being the perfect choice for us.

Then one day for fun, I researched to see if an elopement in New Orleans was possible, and that’s where we found Pop of Love! Mark and I had traveled to New Orleans a few years ago and fell in love with the city, so to get married there was a dream come true.

Friends have said that wedding planning is a stressful experience, but working with Pop of Love was such an easy and delightful experience. Logan was so responsive to all our emails and leading up to our trip we knew we were in great hands.

The day itself completely exceeded our expectations, and we already had high hopes from the beautiful photos from their other elopements!

Every detail seemed to be curated so perfectly for us: the champagne on arrival (which our guests very much enjoyed!), beautiful florals, incredible venue, our delightful and talented photographer Lauren, and even the little menu board with our names!

Thank you Logan and Pop of Love for the best day ever! We hope to be back soon, we’d happily do it all over again!

Bron + Mark were an absolute dream to work with! They traveled ALL of the way to New Orleans from Australia, and had 12 of their nearest and dearest join us from all over the world. After several emails back and forth, and a few scratchy video chats – I felt like I knew these two even before we met – they were just so warm, friendly, and lovely.

Its no secret that Race + Religious is one of the dreamiest venues in all of New Orleans, but what I really loved is that Bron and Mark chose a secluded greenhouse section of the venue for their ceremony. This made the entire event feel so intimate and unique, since ceremonies are traditionally done under their famous bridge. Lauren Carroll Photography traveled all over the space with our darling couple to capture some truly beautiful shots. There were so many parts we loved about this day, from the hand selected soundtrack, (the groom is a musician, and his taste did NOT disappoint) to the joyous guests, to several Australian traditions woven into the ceremony. Bron and Mark smiled all day long, and so did we!

Cheers to this wonderful couple, we are so lucky we had the chance to work with you! We hope you come visit soon!

Warmly,

Logan
