Lacey reached out to Pop of Love and shared one of the sweetest proposal stories we’ve ever heard! She had been trying to plan their wedding in their hometown, and she was feeling the stress of working through so many of the planning details. Pop of Love was able to create the dream wedding she always wanted without any of the stress! I knew right away that Lacey and Tim were going to be a joy to work with, and throughout their planning process, they absolutely were! I even had the pleasure of working with Lacey’s sister, since she surprised the couple with a second line following their ceremony! Through talking with Lacey, I knew they were envisioning a very intimate and romantic day surrounded by their closest family members. Even though we discussed her ceremony in detail, I was not prepared for the emotional day that was before us! When Tim arrived on their wedding day, he was greeted with hugs and tears by his grandmother, and I don’t think there was a dry eye to be found (including the Pop of Love team!) The couple and their entire family was so gracious, and it was a lovely reminder of why our company focuses on the ceremony, it truly is the most special and intimate event that celebrates the marriage of two people who just want to be together.
Lacey requested her ceremony be simple, bohemian and elegant, and this City Park ceremony was just that! We found the perfect moss draped oak as the backdrop for the I-do’s and accented their space with romantic candlelight and garden chairs. Lacey’s natural bouquet and whimsical floral crown by Poppy and Mint added to the overall ambiance! Their ceremony included loving and emotional vows and a meaningful sand ceremony. The couple and guests were quite surprised when Lagniappe Brass Band rounded the corner, and began parading towards us! The guests got to dance and celebrate, and head to nearby Morning Call for coffee and beignets! It was such a perfect day, and we are so grateful to have worked with such a sweet couple! Congratulations to Lacey and Tim!
