There’s no elopement more classic than an intimate elopement in the French Quarter! Rae & Rob had a true New Orleans wedding. The Beauregard-Keyes House was an amazing backdrop for their garden ceremony, and after they were pronounced man and wife, we second lined through the streets to the iconic Muriel’s Restaurant in Jackson Square.
It was such a joy incorporating so many personal details into this wedding. Rae and Rob were engaged right after a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert, so as the guests arrived they were serenaded with a classic playlist of Louis Armstrong, Etta James, and of course, “Harder to Concentrate” by RHCP was thrown into the mix! The second line was actually a surprise gift to the couple from the bride’s triplet sisters, and the look of pure glee on Rae’s face as the band played those first few notes gave us the happiest feeling in the world! It was clear Rae and Rob were surrounded by an abundance of love and support from their incredible family. Every single guest traveled far and wide to celebrate them in New Orleans, but what better excuse to travel to the Big Easy than to watch people begin they love begin their new life together?
Couples like Rae and Rob are the absolute reason we began Pop of Love. Incredibly in love, interested in simple but beautiful, and posses an immense love of New Orleans.
Thank you to this lovely couple for choosing Pop of Love!
